Session Format

At present, in-person sessions are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays in Amanda’s City Park (Denver) office. Telehealth (video and phone) sessions are available Monday-Thursday. Telehealth sessions are conducted using a HIPAA-compliant software, SimplePractice.

Session Availability

Amanda has a mixture of weekday (Monday-Thursday) morning, afternoon, and evening appointments

Session Fee & Payment

Session Fees:

  • Individual therapy, 50-minute session: $185

  • Individual therapy, 80-minute session: $295

  • Relationship therapy (2+ clients), 50-minute session: $200 (2 people), $220 (3 people), $240 (4 people), etc.

    • rate inclusive of any breakout/individual sessions

  • Relationship therapy (2+ clients), 80-minute session: $320 (2 people), $340 (3 people), $360 (4 people), etc.

    • rate inclusive of any breakout/individual sessions

  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), 2 hr-2.5 hr session: $400-$500

    • KAP is usually done in a series of at least 4-8 medicine sessions, at a frequency of twice weekly, weekly, or biweekly, depending on the presenting concerns and treatment goals. Before medicine sessions commence, clients will have at least 1-2 preparatory sessions. After each medicine session and before the next one, clients will have an integration session.

  • During the initial phone consult, Amanda and the prospective client/s can discuss what length of session seems most appropriate; not all individual or couples/relationship work necessitates a longer session

  • Out-of-Network (ONN) provider

    • Amanda does not accept health insurance but can offer receipts for possible, out-of-network reimbursement

    • Please see FAQ’s for a further explanation of why she chooses not to accept insurance

Payment:

  • Credit/Debit Cards

    • Including most Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards (must have major logo like Visa or Mastercard)

    • Clients will upload their credit card information to the secure, online client portal, where their card will be charged at the end of the business day on their session date by Stripe

  • Cash

    • Not currently accepted

  • Available Receipts (upon request)

    • Statement- includes any client transactions that occurred during the specified time frame, including invoices and payments

    • Superbill- for out-of-network (ONN) insurance reimbursement, similar to a Statement, but provides additional information like CPT codes and a client's diagnosis code(s)

Cancellation Policy

  • 48-hours notice

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, are subject to a full-session cancellation fee

    • If the client normally uses a credit card on file to pay for sessions, then their credit card will be charged a full-session fee at the end of the business day of their originally scheduled session

  • Exceptions will be made in rare cases; up to the discretion of the therapist
